Something Amazing!!!

Two Amazing thing happened this week at school.

The first was during outside playtime Monday,  As I step out the Red Rose room I saw kids gathering their friends from the White Rose to come and help them lift up a really really really big rock (as they say it) when a lot of them could not lift the rock they called more of their friends from the Red Rose to help, and when they still could not lift it, they turned to the adults when we said no, that we are sure they would find a way to do so they they went on trying, later after a long time the kids seem to lose interest and went away, but soon came back with shovels and some long planks of woods, then the kids with the smaller shovels first place it under the rock and push down, followed by the kids with the longer shovels doing the same thing and then finally the kids with the long planks of woods place them in the already hoisted rock and push down, and just like that the really, really really big rock was lifted up, and so next stop an even biggest rock.

The second one is that, Vincent went over the rainbow bridge today, and is now 1st grade.

Growing

Doing his thing

Building a new place

Play always stars the same way in Vincent's community, with a knock in the door, she knocks and we are out to play or we knock in her door and play starts, but last sunday it started differently. I was in the garage sweeping the floor when I heard a ball bounce, I smiled and like a cue Vincent burst open the door and said Hanna's out, moments later he was two doors down playing basketball with Hanna, her big brother, and her dad. later game was done and I was finish with my cleaning, I joined them as Hanna's dad went inside, I did not jump into play this time I just watch them, occasionally I scooter up and down the road but nothing more, so just like that Vincent's community grows, and  I hope it grows some more.

Building A Community

The Homes Marker.

Not long ago I have started a COMMUNITY OF THREE, it began with only two, me and my son, Vincent, we would go to the park and play stick baseball, (Vincent's own game.) on our fourth day a saturday, a neighbour went out and played in the park as well, she keep on looking at us so I ask her if she want to join us, next thing I notice I was all alone and the kids was playing like they knew each other for a long time. From then on it became a part of our saturdays, when ever passible, with the kids playing alone, I keep my eyes on them while I did a little wood caving, knitting, or sometimes I just enjoy a book, last saturday while I try to carve a chicken which I discontinued, (I think I saw termites) I was invited to take a seat in one of the chairs they made, I realize that I became an honorary playmate, to be thankful I created a marker for the home, sadly the marker got hit by a big missile, it is raining today and likely will still be raining tomorrow so play might wait until next week or maybe she would be allowed for an indoor play who knows.
